WILCOX, F. ELLSWORTH - Peacefully at the Charlotte County Hospital, St. Stephen NB on August 17, 2012, Mr. F. Ellsworth Wilcox of Pennfield, NB. Born at Blacks Harbour, NB on August 7, 1925, he was a son of the late Ernest and Edith (Trynor) Wilcox. A loving father, step- father, grandfather, great grandfather and brother, Ellsworth is survived by one son, Larry Wilcox (Kandie) of Pennfield, NB, four step-sons; Robert (Jill) Hooper of Hamilton, ON, Carl (Linda) Hooper of St. George, NB, Joseph (Analee) Hooper of Spruce Grove, AB and Ronald (Suzanne) Hooper of Pennfield, NB, two step-daughters; Judy (Emile) Boudreau of Pennfield, NB and Peggy (Steve) Galbraith of Little Lepreau, NB, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, one brother, Sheldon (Audrey) Wilcox of Pennfield, NB, one sister, Joyce (Courtney) Evans of St. George, NB and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Ellsworth was predeceased by his first wife, Dorothy Irene Wilcox, his second wife, Alice Eva (Hooper) Wilcox and by three daughters; Betty Lou Wilcox, Joyce Elaine Wilcox and Frances Elaine Whittier. Prior to his retirement, Ellsworth worked many years as a Heavy Equipment Operator at Lake Utopia Pulp and Paper. Following retirement he enjoyed being outdoors in his garden or traveling to places with his late wife Alice. He loved the water and spending time with his family and friends. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
Resting at the Pennfield Baptist Church, Pennfield, NB from where the service will be held on Monday at 2:00 pm with Rev. Darren Millett officiating followed by the interment at the church cemetery. Visiting at the church will be held on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ellsworth's memory to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
