DOIRON, EDA (ARSENAULT) - (1925-2012) - RICHIBUCTO, NB - Surrounded by her family, our beloved mother Eda Doiron, wife of the late Alban Doiron passed away peacefully at Dr. George-L. Dumont Regional Hospital on Thursday, August 16, 2012. Born in Pointe-Sapin, she was the daughter of the late Léandre and late Alice (Robichaud) Arsenault. She leaves behind her seven children; Laudia Robichaud (Albain) of Dieppe, Lionel, Aldorie, Donald (Adrienne) of Richibucto, Roseline Guimond (Rodrigue) of Saint Louis, Bertin (Janice) of Saint Charles and Robert (Lynda) of Aldouane, eleven grandchildren; Marc, Lisette, Mario, Monica, Chantal, Christian, Kim, Bruce, Christine, Cecilia and Natasha, and sixteen great grandchildren. Eda is also survived by four sisters; Amanda Mazerolle (Léo) of Pointe-Sapin, Yvonne Robichaud (Delphis) of Dieppe, Edna Robichaud (Albert) of Lakeville, Bertha Vautour (Walter) of Richibucto, one brother; Aquila Arsenault of Richibucto and many nieces and nephews. Eda was predeceased by her husband; Alban, three brothers; Lionel, Louis and Tilmon, one sister; Aurore, one grandchild; Darren and one daughter-in-law; Reine.
Resting at Thompson's Funeral Home, Richibucto with visitation on Sunday, from 7:00 to 9:00pm, Monday at 2:00pm until departure for the funeral. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, August 20th, 2012 at 4:00pm, St. Louis de Gonzague Roman Catholic Church, Richibucto. Interment will be in St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Cemetery in Pointe-Sapin.
