PATTERSON, VERA LEAH - Mrs. V. Leah Patterson formerly of North Head, Grand Manan Island, NB passed away at the Grand Manan Nursing Home on Wednesday, August 15, 2012. She was born of the late Marguerite (Harvey) and Leavitt Benson at Seal Cove, NB on June 6, 1920. Leah spent her adult working life as a hairdresser at the Provincial Hospital in Saint John, was a member of the Eastern Star Lodge, and always remained true to her Baptist faith and Christian Faith. She is survived by one brother Laurence (Geraldine) Benson of Seal Cove, one niece Edith Cook of Deep Cove. Also two nephews Cameron (Helen) Benson of Saint John, and Buddy (Anita) Benson of Seal Cove.
The family has requested a private committal service on Monday, August 20, 2012 at Fern Hill Cemetery, Saint John.
