SHAW, HAZEN - It is with great sadness that the family of Hazen Shaw announces his passing on Saturday, August 18, 2012 after a courageous battle with cancer. Born July 11, 1949 in McAdam, NB, he is the son of the late Hazen Shaw Sr. and Goldina (McKay) Shaw. Hazen was a proud member of Pipefitters Local 213, working as pipefitter for 39 years. He was a Shriner and Mason. Hazen loved his family and his pets, especially his cat Ruffy. He will be gravely missed by his loving wife Valerie (Morgan) and children Sandy, Tracy and Angela all of Saint John; two grandchildren Cara and Tori Rowe; brothers Allan and Darren (Karen) Shaw of McAdam, NB and sister Lynn Laking (Lloyd) of McAdam.
The family will receive friends to celebrate Hazen’s life at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John, NB., (646-2424) on Tuesday, August 21 from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M.
