May 14, 1926 - August 15, 2012
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mary Bouzane of Kamloops on August 15th, 2012 at the age of 86. Mary was predeceased by her son, John on October 5, 2011 and her grandson Kip in 1986.
Mary is survived by her loving husband of 67 years Ferdinand and her sister Cecilia of Sarnia, Ontario. Also left to cherish her memory are her children, Paula, Ferdinand (Mary), Bernard, Marcel (Debbie), Bruce (Susan), Bradley and Wayne and daughter-in-law Brenda. Mary will always be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Kent, Kevin, Sean, Ferdie, Marcel, QuanaLynn, Adam, Jody, Dylan and Darla.
Mary was born in Grand Falls, Newfoundland where she met and married her husband on October 29, 1944. Mary and Ferdinand moved to Kitimat in 1956 where they raised their eight children. In 1974, Mary, Ferdinand and their two youngest children moved to Kamloops, BC. After their children were grown Mary opened her own business here in Kamloops called, New Life Communications. At the age of 71, Mary reluctantly closed her business and retired.
Prayers will be recited at 7:00 pm on Monday, August 20, 2012 in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 635 Tranquille Road.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am in the Church on Tuesday, August 28th, 2012. Celebrant, Reverend Father Peter Hoan Nguyen.
