ALLAIN, LORRAINE - 1911 - 2012 - Lorraine Allain, 100, of Bouctouche, passed away peacefully at the Stella Maris de Kent Hospital, Sainte-Anne de Kent on Monday, August 20th, 2012. She was married to the late Alderic Allain (1961). Born in Bouctouche on October 27th, 1911, she was the daughter of the late Gélas and the late Hélène (Collette) Richard. She will be sadly missed by her eight children; Lucie LeBlanc of Memramcook, Edith Duplessis (Donald), Pauline LeBlanc, Guy (Léona), Léopold (Odette), Gilles (Dora), Rhéal (Aldéa), and Laurie (Jeannine) all of Bouctouche, thirty one grandchildren, thirty four great grandchildren, and five great great grandchildren. She also leaves to mourn one sister, Nélida Bastarache of Moncton and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one daughter Annette, one son, Ulysse, one granddaughter Tina, one sister, Sr Marie Lucie Richard, and two brothers; Joffre and Lewis.
Visitations will be held at Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de l’église, Bouctouche, on Thursday, August 23rd, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and on Friday from 1 to 2:45pm. Funeral Mass will be held at the Saint-Jean Baptiste Roman Catholic Church, Bouctouche on Friday, August 24th, 2012 at 3:00 pm with interment in the parish cemetery. In Lorraine’s memory donations can be made to the Dr Georges L Dumont Hospital Foundation “Oncology Center”.
