It is with heavy hearts we announce the recent passing of Thomas Grant Porter of Etobicoke, Ontario. Formerly of Amherst Tommy was the son of Eldon and Shirley (Beamish) Porter. Tommy is also survived by companion Valerie Parker and 2 children. Son, Jason of Missisauga and daughter, Stacy of Calgary. Also surviving are his brothers, Chris(June) of Tidnish, NS, and Rodney(Kate) of Waweig, NB. Tommy was predeceased by his brother Andrew. A service was held in Etobicoke and Tommy's remains will be interned in Ontario. Donations in Tommy's memory may be made to the Amherst Head Cemetery Society or to a charity of choice.
