HAYWOOD, REV. ERIC MALCUM - Rev. Eric Malcum Haywood of Woodstock passed away at Carleton Manor on Wednesday, August 22, 2012, at the age of 87 years. He was born in Waterville, NB, son of the late Oscar and Lillian (Prosser) Haywood. He is survived by one daughter, Deborah Grant (Paul) of Woodstock; a brother, Gordon Haywood (Flora) of Victoria Corner; a sister, Marjorie A. Seeley (Bill) of Bronte, ON; and grandchildren, Caitlin Grant (Billy), Toby Grant (Christy), Kelly Everett (Rodney); great grandchildren Austin, Alexis, Trew, Paxton, Emma, and Alex; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was pre-deceased by his wife Nina Haywood and a brother, Lorne Haywood. For the most of his life Eric served in the mission field in South Africa.
Resting at the Scott Funeral Home, 815 Main Street, Woodstock, NB, with visiting on Friday, Aug. 24, 2012 from 7 to 9pm. The funeral service will be held on Sat. Aug. 25, 2012 at 2:00pm from the Woodstock Wesleyan Church. Rev. Dale MacDonald will be officiating, with interment in the Greenwood Cemetery.
