It is with heavy hearts that we the family announce the passing of Donald Walker on Aug. 26, 2012, at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital. Donald was the son of the late John and Margaret Walker.
He is survived by his partner of 38 years, Marcella MacDonald and family; son, Frank (Sherry); daughter, Shauna (David); sister, Shirley Fitzgerald and brother, Frank and five grandchildren, Sean, David, Samantha, Shannon and Chole.
Besides his parents, Donald was predeceased by brothers David and Fraser.
Memorial service will take place Wednesday, Aug. 29 at 11 a.m. In the S.W. Chant & Son Funeral Home Chapel, 564 Alexandra St., Sydney, with Rev. Sheldon Chant officiating.
Donations in Donald’s memory can be made to the Palliative Care Center.
