BOUDREAU, MARGUERITE - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Marguerite “Margo” Boudreau, 93, of Grand-Barachois, on Monday, August 27, 2012 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre. Born on May 20, 1919 in Moncton, she was the daughter of Arthur and Mélina (Boudreau) Boudreau. Prior to her retirement she worked for Paturel Seafood. Margo was a very special mom and grandmother who loved life. She was lucky to have travelled the world and was happiest when surrounded by her loving family. Marguerite will be sadly missed by a daughter, Muriel Leger of Barachois; two sons: Yvon (Flora) of Greenwood, NS and Georges (Gisèle) of Shediac; a brother, Emery (Alta) Boudreau of Hartford, CT; a sister, Dorilla (late Ulysse) Boudreau of Barachois; a sister-in-law, Florine (late Edouard) Boudreau; 10 grandchildren: Richard (Caroline) Leger, Marc (Sylvie) Leger, Marcel Leger, Renée (Ian) Dawson, Marc (Stacey), Paul (Stéphanie), Joel (Melissa), Mathieu (Chantal), André (Isabelle) and Josée; 10 great-grandchildren: Tiffanie, Chanel, Chloe, Carson, Katie, Katherine, Sarah, Anabelle, Miguel and Lexie; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Eric (1960) and five brothers: Edgar, Hector, Jim, Edouard and Léo.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral Home, 396 Main Street, Shediac (532-3297). Visiting hours Thursday, August 30 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St-Henri R.C. Church, Grand-Barachois, on Friday, August 31 at 11:00 am. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
