DeCoste, Phillip William – 64, Truro passed away peacefully Monday, August 27, 2012 at home. Born in Truro on December 19, 1947, he was a son of the late Phillip C. and Mildred (Saunders) DeCoste. Phil worked as an autobody repairman, Brookfield Lumber sawyer and drove a tractor trailer until he retired due to health issues. He belonged to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 26 for 32 years. Phil is survived by his wife, Sharon (Lynch), Truro; son, Clifford, Debert; daughter, Cathy (Jason) Croft, Mill Village; grandchildren, Shawntel, Josh, Ali; sister, Valerie (Gerry) Wright, Greenfield; several nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, September 1 at 10:00 a.m. in Crossroads Cemetery, Valley with Rev. Mary White officiating.
