McLEAN, CHARLES "CHARLIE" - (1938-2012) - After a brief illness Charlie passed away in Mount Sinai Hospital, Toronto, on his 74th birthday, August 31, 2012. Born in Lower Derby, Charlie was the son of the late John and Blanche (Clouston) McLean. In the mid 1950s Charlie moved to Ontario with a group of his friends where he worked and lived until his passing. As well as his parents, Charlie was predeceased by his brother Ted Clouston (Myrna) and his long time companion Betty Devoe. He is survived by sisters Lillian McKinley (Millard), Agnes Jardine (Clayton), June McLean-Collins (David), all of Toronto; brothers John McLean (Susan) of Chatham, Wally McLean of Moncton and several nieces and nephews.
Charlie's cremated remains will be interred in Saint Peter's Anglican Church cemetery in Millerton at a date to be determined. The family would like to express a sincere thank you for the many messages of condolence received on Charlie's behalf.
