Passed away to peaceful rest at his private home in Flowers Cove, Mr. Clyde Roberts in his 79th year. Clyde is survived by his wife of 55 years Marilyn; his son Craig (Anna); daughters Jaye and Deirdre (Bill); as well as two grandchildren Kendra and Cameron. He also leaves behind his sisters Maxine (Richard), and Patsy (Karl); and his brother Roland (Rita); his church community; and a wide circle of family and friends. Visitation took place at the United Church in Flowers Cove, from where the funeral service was held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 29 with Rev. John McGonigle officiating. Burial followed the service in the Old United Cemetery in Flowers Cove. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral Home, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Lee Nippard, funeral director.
