Ida (Dee) Marie Basarich, longtime resident of Iron Creek / Watson Lake, Yukon, passed away at Fairview, on August 5, 2012, at the age of 62 years.
Ida was born in Manning and raised in Rocky Lane moved to Iron Creek, Yukon in 1988. From 2004 to present she was based in Watson Lake. She travelled and enjoyed life.
She will be sadly missed by all of her family and friends and anyone who ever met or knew her.
She was predeceased by her first husband Vernon Crawford Hinson, mother Evelyn Lucille Robertson, father, Norman Lacroix Shannon, brother, Lawrence Leslie Shannon, and numerous aunts and uncles.
A memorial service will be held at the Fairview Legion Hall on Saturday, August 11, 2012 at 3:00pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Fairview Palliative Care Society.
