Hannah Palmer, longtime resident of Grande Prairie, passed away at the Q.E.II Hospital on Saturday, August 18, 2012 at the age of 90 years.
She will be sadly missed by her children: Ellen (Bruce) Coleman, Norman (Val) Palmer, Jean (Tom) Durrant, Sharon (Wally) Snow, Marlene (Doug) Campbell, Mike (Lillian) Palmer; brother, George (Lucy) Wardill; sister, Mary (Harry) Vandendungen; brother in-law Don Reed; sister in-law Esther Wardill; 20 grandchildren, 53 great-grandchildren, and numerous great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many friends.
She was predeceased by her husband, Norman Kenneth (Ken) Palmer; mother Ellen and father Henry (Harry) Wardill; sisters, Edna (Andy), Josephine and brothers, Tom (Lydia), John, Wilfred; also granddaughter Sharmon.
A viewing will be held on Sunday, August 26, 2012 from 4:00-6:00pm at Oliver’s Grande Prairie Funeral Chapel.
Funeral service will be held at Christ Church Anglican in Grande Prairie (6610 Poplar Drive) on Monday, August 27, 2012 at 1:00 p.m.
Memorial donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
