Raymond "Ray" Charles Eytcheson passed away peacefully on August 31, 2012 in Kamloops, BC at 81 years of age. He was born on September 22, 1930 in Prince Albert, SK.

Ray is survived by his loving wife of 62 years Gwen, his daughters Edna, Anne (Alf), Linda (Dale), Shirley (Ernie), Jean and his son Ted (Connie), grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great great-grandchildren, brothers Ted (Carol), Lloyd (Florence), sisters Eileen (Wes), Joyce (Andy) and all his friends.

Ray was predeceased by his children Emma, Percy Wayne, and Rose Mary, as well as his parents Floyd and Kathleen, aunts, uncles and his sister Edith.

The family would like to give a special thank you to the nurses who gave so much extra care and attention to Ray. A special thank you to Bobby and Hailey for the care and extra things they have done for Gwen, Ray and Anne. They made things so much easier for all of us.

There will be no funeral service but a Celebration of Life will be held in the spring. Please contact the family for further info. We welcome anyone to bring jokes, sayings, pictures and stories of Ray to the celebration in the spring. Ray will always be dearly missed by family and friends.
