It is with great sorrow the family of the late Cecilia McGrath wish to announce her peaceful passing surrounded by her loving family at her home in Patrick’s Cove, Placentia Bay on September 5, 2012. Predeceased by her husband Anthony McGrath, July 1994. Left with a lifetime of wonderful memories her family Mary McGrath, Robert, Gordon, Patricia Careen, William, Agnes Careen, Christina Coffey, David, Regina Barry, Olive English, Delton and Deon and their spouses and families, 28 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, sisters Lucy Islip, Theresa Greening and Bride Coffey, and a large circle of family and friends. She was cared for with tenderness and compassion by Linda and Ann, her home care workers. Visitation to take place at St. Patrick’s Church, Patrick’s Cove. Funeral Mass to take place at St. Patrick’s Church, Patrick’s Cove on Friday, September 7, 2012 at 2:00 p.m., with interment to follow in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Patricks Cove.
