TOMPKINS, J. ELAINE - 1939 - 2012 - The death of Joyce Elaine Tompkins of Bath occurred on Wednesday, September 12, 2012 at the Upper River Valley Hospital, Waterville. Born January 30, 1939 in Bath she was the daughter of the late Willard and Frances (Nixon) Giberson. Elaine is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Kent; three children, Warren Tompkins (Kim), Allison Tompkins (Steeve Crete) and Peter Tompkins (Jennie Wilson); four grandchildren, Baillie and Kieran Tompkins, Annie and Samuel Crete and special niece, Beth Smith.
Visitation will be held from L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors, 207 Burnham Rd. Florenceville-Bristol on Friday, September 14, 2012 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A funeral service will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, September 15, 2012 from the L.R. Giberson Funeral Chapel. Rev. Garth Hatheway will officiate.
