SCHAITEL, Iris Marguerite Maude, nee Williams, of Moose Jaw, SK, formally of Morse, SK, passed away at the Herbert & District Integrated Health Facility on Tuesday, August 28, 2012, with her daughter at her side. Iris was born in Morse, SK, on January 10, 1925, to May & Verne Williams. She was the third of four children. Iris will be fondly remembered by her daughter, Deborah Lynn Lang (Cameron); her grandson, Jason Clay Schaitel Lang (Christine); great-granddaughters, Jaiden and Madison; her grandson, Cory Wayne Schaitel Lang (Lisa); great-grandson, Sidney; and great-granddaughter, Mya. She will be missed by her sisters, Esabelle (Jim) Erskine and Evelyn Carnduff; brother-in-law, Clarence Schaitel; sister-in-law, Verna Schaitel; and by many nieces, nephews and friends. She was pre-deceased by her parents, May & Verne Williams; brother & sister-in-law, Edgar & Anne Williams; her husband of 52 years, Alvin Schaitel; and by a grandson, Michael Anthony Finley. The Memorial Service was held on Saturday, September 8, 2012, at 2:00 pm from the Morse Town Hall, Morse, SK with Pastor Fred Mathieson officiating. The eulogy was shared by granddaughter, Christine Lang. The ushers for the service were friends of the family, Dave Montgomery and Les Weppler. The Honorary pallbearers were Mark Carnduff, Robert Williams and Dennis Williams. The Interment of Cremains was held at the Memory Lane Cemetery, Morse, SK. In memory of Iris Schaitel, donations made to the Dr. Noble Irwin Health Care Foundation, CR Digitizer - Diagnostic Imaging (x-ray) for Herbert IHCF would be appreciated by the family.
