It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Terry Carson on Friday, Sept. 14, 2012, at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney.
Born in Sydney, he was the son of the late Henry and Louise (Snow) Carson.
Terry was employed as an auto mechanic working for many service stations over the years. He enjoyed working around cars and trucks in his leisure time. He was very quiet and determined person, when a task needed to be done, he made sure it was completed. Terry will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his siblings, Jerry (Brenda) Carson, Nancy Carson, and Norma Carson, (Brian MacPherson); special nephew, Shawn Carson, who was like a son; niece and nephews, Kim (Tommy), Joe (Laurie), Jason (Jocelyn); grand nieces and nephews, Kaylee, Cody, Taylor, Justin, Josh, Jesse, Jailyn, Ryder and Julie; as well as several aunts and uncles.
Visitation will be held Sunday, Sept. 16, 2012 at the S.W. Chant & Son Funeral Home, 564 Alexandra St., Sydney from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place 2 p.m. Monday, Sept. 17, 2012, in the funeral home chapel, with Rev. Sheldon Chant officiating.
