Sylvia Lorraine (Smith) Fleming, formerly of Grove Street, Glace Bay, passed away Sept. 8, 2012 at William-Osler Hospital, Brampton, Ont.
Besides her parents, William and Mary Smith, she was predeceased by her brother, Eric, Glace Bay and sister, Beulah Williams, Guysborough.
She is survived by her son, Kirk (Christine), Brampton, Ont. and her daughter, Joanne (Shane) Fulks, Alabama, USA and grandchildren, Richard, Rebecca, Shawnna, Jamie and Amber Lee; brothers, Weldon, Glace Bay, Sheldon, Scotchtown and her lifelong friend, Gwen Boutilier, Glace Bay.
At Sylvia’s request, there will be no visitation or service. Cremation has taken place in Brampton.
