It is with great sadness that the family of the late Walter Stephen Billard announce his passing at the Health Science Center St. John’s, NL on September 18th, 2012. Predeceased by parents: Gabriel and Bessie Billard; sister: Eva. Leaving to mourn is his wife Margaret of 66 years, son: Denny (Carol); daughter: Jolene; grandchildren: Stephen (Kristina), Mark (Jacqueline), Denny (Rochelle), Cavell (Sam); great grandchildren: Abby, Katie, Hannah, Katie, Evan and Lucas. Walter began his career as a teacher and later become employed by the Federal Government and worked for the last 38 years of his career as a customs officer. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather and will be truly missed by all of his family and friends. Cremation by Barrett’s Funeral Home, Mt. Pearl, NL. Memorial Service to take place at the Anglican Church, Daniel’s Harbour NL on Saturday, September 22, 2012.
