It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jerome Hunt, age 81 of Dunville, P. Bay, our beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother at Carbonear General Hospital on Saturday, September 22nd, 2012. Predeceased by his daughter Geraldine and son-in-law Gerard. Left to celebrate his life and cherish his memory: his loving wife of 53 years Caletta; his devoted children Annie (Lorne) Collins, Linda (Leo) Walsh, Jim (Juanita) Hunt, Geannie (Bill) Greene and Cathy (Greg) Hobbs; 16 grandchildren: Leslie, Robin, William, Mollie; Matthew, Louis, Becky; Jason; Jerome, Nora; Crystal, Jeff, Allison, Gregory, Natasha and Jessica, his great-grandchildren Lilly, Joseph, Aiden, Sophie, Jacob, Jack and Jorga; his brother Peter Murphy; special friend John Smith; special nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Resting at Coombs Funeral Home, Placentia on Sunday, September 23rd, 2012 (3-9 p.m), Monday, September 24th (2-9 p.m.) Funeral Mass to take place at St. Anne’s Church, Dunville on Tuesday September 25th, 2012 at 11:00 a.m., with interment to follow in Coombs Memorial Cemetery, Southeast, Placentia.
