Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones at Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital in St. Anthony on Sept. 17, 2012 Mr. Roland Maxwell Pilgrim of Main Brook, NL, in his 73rd year. Left to mourn are his wife of 52 years Ivy; his children Ruby (Whyman), Sheila, (Rene), Don (Gaye), Morgan (Vivian), Glenn (Holly), Marcel, and Colin (Lorraine); 11 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three brothers and five sisters. Ron was predeceased by his son Fred and his parents and two brothers. He will be sadly missed. Visitation took place at the United Church in Main Brook, from where the funeral service took place at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 20 with Rev. John McGonigle, Dm officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral Homes, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Siobhan Mauger, funeral director.
