BARTON, HELEN ELIZABETH - The death of Helen Elizabeth Barton of New Maryland, NB passed away on September 30, 2012 at the Dr. Everett Chalmer’s Hospital in Fredericton, NB. Born in Clones (now CFB Gagetown), she was the daughter of Edward and Marjorie (McCutcheon) Barton. Helen is survived by three brothers, Jim, Albert, and George, two sisters-in-law, Evelyn and Iris, two nieces, four nephews, three great nieces, three great nephews and one great great nephew.
At Helen’s request there will be no visitation. The funeral service will be held at the J.A. McAdam Memorial Chapel at 160 York Street, Fredericton on Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Kelly Burke officiating. A private family interment will be held in the Fredericton Rural Extension Cemetery. Donations can be made to the Cancer Society, Heart and Stroke Foundation or Palliative Care Unit.
