Passed peacefully away at the S.A. Glenbrook Lodge on Monday, October 1, 2012, in her 75th year. Predeceased by her husband Warrick Maxwell Chafe, her parents Ernest and Helen Snow, brother Ernest Snow Jr. and sister Jean Olive Squires. Leaving to mourn her very special friend James McCarthy of 14 1/2 years of C.B.S., and his sisters Bride McCarthy, Mary Tobin and family of C.B.S. and Marie Churchill and family of Cambridge, Ontario, his brother Cyril McCarthy and family of Paradise, her special friends Anna and Paul Cleary, special niece Noelle Kavanagh. Also nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Special thanks to Major Rex and Darlene Colbourne and Major Linda Budgell of Glenbrook Lodge, also staff and residents for making her stay as comfortable as possible. A special thank-you to her Dr. Arron McKim for his care and compassion. Thank-you to all who helped me getting to and from H.S.C. and Glenbrook Lodge for the last 2 years. Hickey Memorial Funeral Home, Kelligrews on Tuesday from 12 noon - 9 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at 11 a.m. in St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church, Topsail.
