MOLLINS, SHIRLEY EVELYN - 1928 - 2012 - Shirley E. Mollins of Moncton passed away Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at The Dr. George L. Dumont University Hospital at the age of 83. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late William and May (Tower) Steeves. She was a member of St. John’s United Church in Moncton and a former member of the Sunny Brae Ladies Auxiliary. Shirley will be dearly missed by her sons, Kevin and David both of Moncton and Peter (Rachael) of Cole Branch; sister, Barbara Sprague (Gerald) of Moncton; brother, Rev. Robert Steeves (Kathleen) of Petitcodiac; grandchildren, Kyle and Heidi, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband Hugh Mollins in 1986, sisters, Marion Landry, Irene Bottle and Beulah Goguen, and a brother, Harold.
The funeral service will take place from Cobb’s Funeral Home Memorial Chapel, 330 Whitepine Road, Riverview (869-2007) on Saturday, October 6, 2012 at 1:00 PM with Rev. Aaron Billard officiating. The family will be receiving visitors at the funeral home from 12:00 PM until the time of the service. The interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
