CAMPBELL, AGNES L. (CHILDERHOUSE) - The largely attended funeral of Agnes L. (Childerhouse), wife of the late Walter J. Campbell was held on Monday, October 1, 2012 from Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB to Holy Trinity Church where a Mass of Christian Burial was con-celebrated by Rev. Peter J. Stephen as principal celebrant, Rev. Raymund Stack and Rev. Paul Doucette, assisted by the Senior Altar Servers of Holy Trinity Parish. Readers were Michael Campbell, Sandra Campbell and David Lewis. Ministry of Music was performed by Trisha Gallagher, Victor Syzmanski, Moriah Russell, Peter Cho and Reeves Watt. Bagpipes were played by great-niece, Brittany Maston. Active pallbearers were nieces, Susan Dunham and Cindy Campbell and nephews, Bob Glynn, Jerry Kunitzky, Martin Olsen and Ralph Kaye. The honourary pallbearer was Mrs. Campbell's brother, Stephen Childerhouse.
Beautiful floral tributes and numerous Mass Intentions were received from thoughtful family and friends. Memorials were placed to Holy Trinity Church Building and Renovation Fund, including one from Holy Trinity CWL; Rocmaura Foundation - Garden Court; Rocmaura Foundation - Alzheimer's Unit; CNIB New Brunswick; Christopher Court Memorial Scholarship Trust Fund; Prostate Cancer Canada; Gregory J. Bangay Memorial Bursary Fund c/o Greater Saint John Community Foundation; Canadian Cancer Society (Saint John); Kidney Foundation of Canada - Atlantic Canada Branch; Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation (Atlantic); Sophia Recovery Centre; NB Society of Retired Teachers, Saint John Branch Scholarship Fund; Heart and Stroke Foundation of NB; Saint John Regional Hospital Extra Mural Program; Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation; Romero House (NB); Saint John YM-YWCA; Tuberous Sclerosis Canada and Bobby's Hospice.
Interment took place in St. Joseph's Cemetery with prayers at the grave led by Father Stephen. A reception followed at Holy Trinity Family Centre. The Campbell family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation to the staff of Senior Watch and Garden Court at Rocmaura Nursing Home. The exceptional care which you provided to our mother will never be forgotten.
