At Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Friday, Oct. 5, 2012, of Lillian Charlotte Isobel Hudson of Cascumpec aged 83, beloved wife to Arthur Hudson for over 65 years. Born at Mount Royal on April 25, 1929, daughter of the late Thomas and Vera (Adams) Silliker. Lillian was the cherished mother of Carol (Peter) Schroeder and Thomas (Susan) Hudson all of Cascumpec. Loving grandmother to Amy Dawn Hudson, Johnathan Edward Hudson and Richard Albert Hudson Schroeder. Dear sister to Clair (Clara) Silliker, Unionvale. Sister-in-law to Carrie Silliker, O’Leary; Leta (Gordon) Leard, Fortune Cove; Jean Murphy, Edmonton, Alta.; Ted (Jean) Hudson, Cascumpec; and Vern Hudson, Alberton. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Lillian was predeceased by her parents, brother Allison, sister Norma Carol (six months). Resting at the Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel, O’Leary. Visiting hours were Monday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service on Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Gordon Memorial United Church, Alberton. Interment to follow in the Cascumpec United Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Cascumpec United Church Cemetery or the Cascumpec United Church Improvement Fund, or a charity of your choice, would be deeply appreciated.
