Passed away peacefully at the Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital in St. Anthony on Oct. 1, 2012, Mrs. Margaret A. Chambers of Plum Point, NL, in her 86th year. Leaving to mourn with a life time of loving memories are sons Whyman (Barbara), David (Shanon), and Walter (Jackie); daughters Una (late Montrose), Verna (Paul), and Wanda (Lorne); daughter-in-law Sophia; grandchildren Pierre (Jackie), Allison (Gerald), Monty (Judy), Bradley (Rena), Corey (Shawna), Calvin (Terrie Lee), Danan, Chelsie, Ashton, and Garfield, and a large circle of extended family and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Garfield Chambers Sr., sons Calvin Chambers, Donald Chambers, and Allan Chambers. Visitation was held at The Church of Advent in Plum Point followed by the funeral service at 2 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 5 with Rev. Harold Harvey officiating. Interment followed in the Anglican Cemetery on Darby’s Island. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral Homes, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Lee Nippard, funeral director.
