Hansen, Ardythe (Ells), born July 11, 1923 in Habitant, Nova Scotia, passed away September 23, 2012 in Loganville, Georgia. She was predeceased by her husband, Edward Joseph Hansen; her parents, Basil and Maie Ells; two brothers, Lemuel, Earl; and two sisters Vera, Rita. She leaves behind her son, Gregory Hansen, Loganville, Georgia; her daughter Dr. Denise (Hansen) Tarasuk, Campbell, California; four grandchildren; one great grandchild; her brother Karnan Ells, Medford, N.S. her sisters Myra Taylor, Bedford, Massachusetts; Irene Ells, Glendale, California; Sarah (Sally) Nelson, Sarasota, Florida; several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Hansen graduated from Mack Business College in Kentville, N.S. She worked for many years as a travel agent at Leisure Travel in New Providence, New Jersey. She and her husband were long-time residents of Sarasota, Florida. Ardythe enjoyed travelling and gardening and was very active in golfing and curling. Funeral service will be held at St. Thomas' Anglican Church, Kingsport, N.S. at 2:00 pm on October 25, 2012 with Reverend David Garrett officiating. A reception for family and friends will follow at the Lloyd Memorial Centre in Kingsport, N.S. Burial will be in the Habitant Cemetery in Habitant, N.S.
