Jackson, Gary Michael – 56, Bass River, unexpectedly passed away on Monday, October 8, 2012 at the family Home in Inglewood, Surrounded by his family. He was the son of the late Clarence and Evelyn (Mitchell) Jackson. After graduation from Bridgetown Regional High School (1975), Gary graduated from Collage St. Anne (1980) with a B. Arts. Since 1990 he has been employed with Corrections Canada in Truro. In his spare time, Gary was an avid hunter and fisherman, and loved a good debate. Left to celebrate Gary’s life is his siblings, Bill (Bev) of Truro, Kathryn (Orphyr) Theriault of Kingston, Lester of Inglewood, Chris (Eleanor) of St. John’s NL, Dean (Jacquie) of Hammonds Plains; sister in law Lesley (Stuart) and Eleanor Carter (Howard); as well as a large extended family and circle of friends. He was predeceased by siblings Audrey Fisher, Stuart, Howard and Suzanne Jackson-Hill. Visitation will be held 7-9pm Friday October12, with a funeral service 2pm Saturday October 13, both from the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Bridgetown. Family flowers only.
