Mac was predeceased by his sister, Mary and his brothers, Hector and Peter.
Mac is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Theresa; son, Peter (Jody) of Mississauga, Ont. and daughter, Catherine (George) of Calgary, Alta.; grandchildren, Jordache, Hunter and Courtney; sister, Anne (Owen ‘Odie’) Bonnell of Sydney, N.S.; nieces and nephews, Shawn MacNeil, Peter MacNeil, Peter Fedora, Alan Fedora, Eddie Fedora, George Fedora, David Fedora, Sandy MacNeil, Betty O’Neil, Nancy Briand, Avitas Shield, Gary Bonnell, Karen Bonnell and Darlene MacQuin.

In Mac’s leisure time he enjoyed bowling and golfing. He was an avid Montreal Canadiens fan and later in life a Canucks fan. Mac had a great sense of humour and was much loved and respected in his community. He also enjoyed his long walks, a great rivalry with his son-in-law and cheering on the B.C. Lions and Calgary Stampeders.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Mac’s memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
