Passed peacefully away at her residence in Conne River on Sunday, October 14, 2012, Mrs. Philomena Benoit, age 74 years. Leaving to mourn her loving family: daughters, Sylvia (Howard) at Conne River, Gladys (Calvin) and Harriette (Clancy) at Labrador City, Madeline (Eric) and Joann (Ryan) at Conne River; sons, Giles (Collie), Mike (Alma), Donny (Arlene), Andy (Tina), Fabian (Nena) and Gordie (Krista), all at Conne River; twenty-eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren; plus a number of other relatives and friends. Predeceased by her husband, Thomas, in 2005 and brothers, Ernest, Leonard and Walter.
Funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 17, 2012 at 11:00 am from St. Anne’s Roman Catholic Church in Conne River with Father Justin Dawson officiating. Cremation followed.
