Mary passed away peacefully in Overlanders, her son Brian by her side, at 2:45 A.M.

Sadly missed by Howard, Mary's husband of 64 years.

Predeceased by eldest son Murray.

Succeeded by other son Brian and grandson Ryan.

Mary was an enthusiastic member of the Vancouver YW Board. When Howard was transferred to Kamloops in 1963, Mary could see how her hometown could benefit from a local YW. Mary connected with Lois Hollstedt, another enthusiastic Y booster. Lois and Mary became co-founders of Kamloops Y.

The cabin at Hyas Lake was a refuge for Mary, her family and friends. Mary didn't fish but she and her friend Pat tied good looking flies.

As Mary's health became more complex, she was blessed with the compassionate care Mary received in the Evergreen wing of Overlanders. Special thanks to Brenda.
