THÈRIAULT, JOSEPH LOUIS - Joseph Louis Thèriault, 89, of Baie Sainte-Anne, NB., passed away on Sunday at the Miramichi Regional Hospital after a short illness surrounded by his family. Born in Baie Sainte-Anne, NB., the son of the late Alexander N. Thèriault and Emilia (Richard) Thèriault. Louis was Secretary - Treasurer and co-founder of Thèriault & Hachey Peat Moss Co., He also was a veteran of WWII and a member of the Conservative Party of New Brunswick, member of St Anne Parish of Baie Sainte-Anne, NB. He is survived by his brother Alfred (Laurette) Thèriault of Moncton, sister-in-law Delima Thèriault of Moncton, many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews. Louis is predeceased by his three sisters Diana, Hèlène and Gisèle, three brothers, Eloi, Isaac and Aubin.
Joseph Louis Thèriault rested at the Salon Soeur Blandine-Martin in Baie Sainte-Anne on Monday, October 22nd, 2012 from 7 to 9pm and on Tuesday, October 23rd, 2012 from 2pm till time of the funeral. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Tuesday, October 23rd, 2012 at 4pm from St Anne Roman Catholic Church with Fr Gilbert Levesque Celebrant, Con-Celebrant Fr Robert Savoie. Active Pallbearers were Mathieu Thèriault, Jody Williston, Renè Thèriault, Nicolas Manuel, Jocelyn Savoie and Marius Savoie. Honorary Pallbearers were Gabrielle Manuel, Kathleen Vigneault, Rose-Alma Thèriault, Dorice Durelle, Doris Manuel, Euginie McIntyre, Diane Martin, Nicole Savoie-Thèriault, Jacinthe Mazerolle and Adèle Martin. Honor Guard by the management & staff of Thèriault & Hachey Peat Moss. The Royal Canadian Legion Branch #3 formed a Honor Guard and held a Legion Service.
