It is with great sadness that the family of the late Emily Jane Park announce her passing on Thursday, October 25, 2012 at the Corner Brook Long Term Care Facility at the age of 103 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her children: Shirley Payne, Ethel (Eugene) Park, David Park all of Cox’s Cove, Russell (Louise) Park, Brampton, ON and Harold Park, Cox’s Cove; son-in-law George Crane, Cox’s Cove; a large number of grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Harold Park, parents Robert and Sarah Joyce, children Willie Joyce, Evelyn (Walt) Piercey, Ada Crane and Mavis Park, son-in-law Cyril Payne, daughter-in-law Hilda Park, sister Sarah (Leslie) Cox and brother Gordon (Dorothy) Joyce. Friends may visit Emmanuel Pentecostal Church in Cox’s Cove on Friday and Saturday from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. from where the funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 28 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor William Sampson officiating. Interment to follow at the Pentecostal Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
