It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our father, grandfather and brother PAUL MAURICE CHARPENTIER on October 22nd, 2012 after a lengthy struggle with cancer. Paul was born on April 27th, 1940 in Port Alberni, B.C. Soon after, the family moved to Pascal, SK. where they remained until 1957. Paul graduated from College Notre Dame in Prince Albert. At the time of his passing, he was living in California.

Paul is survived by his wife, Galia of California, his daughter Ginnete (John) Sorriento, his son Marc (Junko), his daughters Sylvie Charpentier, Chantale (Marc) Norris, Andrea (Marc) Bouris, Lisa Charpentier, seven grandchildren, the mothers of his children Beatrice Waldner and Jennifer Topham, his sisters Janine (Pierre) Allard, and Lucy (Jim) Ketter. He was predeceased by his parents Walter and Marie Charpentier and his brother Denis.

He will always be remembered as a wonderful father and grandfather who treasured family times.

A private internment will be held in Oregon House, California.
