LÉGER, RITA - Rita M. Léger, 91, of Leominster and formerly of Shediac Bridge, passed away at the Leominster Hospital in Leominster, MA, on Sunday, October, 21, 2012. Born April 28, 1921 in St. Paul, N.B., she was the daughter of the late Henry and Bibiene (Cormier) Belliveau. She will be greatly missed by her son, Peter of West Boylston, MA; four daughters: Theresa, Linda Wright and Della Butler all of Leominster, MA and Pauline Daley of Ringe, N.H; a brother, Al Belliveau of NS; three sisters: Doris Blacquere (Adam), Haite LeBlanc and Minnie Surette all of Canada; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews. Other than her parents she is predeceased by her husband, Laurie J. Leger (June 29, 2007), two sons: Gerald and David, and a daughter, Fernande.
There will be no visitation. The funeral mass will be celebrated at La Visitation R.C. Church, Grande-Digue, on Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at 11 a.m. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
