Passed peacefully away on October 25, 2012 at the Chancellor Park Retirement Home, St. John's, Mrs. Doris Lemon Gosse (nee Marshall), originally of Spaniard's Bay, in her 100th year. Predeceased by her husband Harold F. Gosse, her parents Josiah and Mary Marshall, sister Louise Wylie (George), brother, Eric Marshall. Left to mourn are 2 daughters: Yvonne Seymour (Art), Cynthia Bennett (Lloyd); grandchildren: Aaron Bennett, Shari, Fraser and Jeffery Seymour; great-grandchildren: Marena, Julia and Gregory Seymour; her sister-in-law Muriel Marshall, and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Doris was an avid gardener and loved her flowers, shrubs, and trees at her original home in Spaniard's Bay. Special thanks to the staff of Chancellor Park. Funeral service to take place at Holy Redeemer Anglican Church, Spaniard's Bay on Monday, October 29th, at 2 p.m. Interment to follow at Green Head Anglican Cemetery. Visitation at Lynch's Funeral Home, Sunday, October 28th, 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m., Monday, October 29th, 11 a.m. - 12 noon.
