PRATT; Oliver A. With great sadness we announce that Oliver A. "Ollie" Pratt late of Swift Current, passed away October 18, 2012 at the Parkside Extendicare in Regina, SK at the age of 76. Ollie is survived by his wife Gloria, daughter Jamie (Ken) Rowe, daughter Janine Hayward, son Shawn and grandkids Tessa and Shayne. He was predeceased by his parents Donald and Emma and his granddaughter Jenna Rowe, whom he loved very much. Ollie had numerous and a wide variance in age of friends left in Swift Current. Ollie was very active in the community and many clubs. Golfing at Elmwood was a passion of his and unfortunately so was his beloved Leafs. His kindness and generosity made him a friend to all who met him. So many memories will live with his family forever. The family will privately send Ollie to heaven, but a true celebration of his life and cabaret will be held on November 3, 2012 at the Palliser Pavilion starting at 6:00 pm. Because of Ollie's love for the Riders and the Leafs, friends are invited to join the family to celebrate and are asked to dress in their favorite team colors. The family also wishes to thank, Laurie and Candice and all the other special people at Parkside Extendicare who loved Ollie for the past five years, the nurses at the dialysis unit of Regina General Hospital, your compassion is appreciated.
