It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Annie Louise MacDonald on Oct. 25, 2012, at the Maple Hill Manor, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Port Hood, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary MacDonald.
In her earlier years she worked at the Cove Guest Home, Sydney.
She is survived by sisters, Catherine Nemis, Cassie Pilon, Alma Rame, Cecelia Gottwald, Maurina MacLean and brother, Jerome MacDonald, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was also predeceased by brothers, John, Angus, Archie, Frank, Colin, sisters Rachel and Christina.
There will be no visitation, a funeral mass will be held Tuesday, Oct. 30 at 10 a.m. in the Parish of Saint Leonard with Fr. Ray Huntley officiating. Burial in Mount Carmel Cemetery followed by a reception in the parish hall, Convent Street. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of McLellan Brothers Funeral Home, 3183 Plummer Ave., New Waterford, 862-7500.
