Florine LeBlanc-Landry

Florine LeBlanc-Landry

LeBLANC-LANDRY, FLORINE - 88 - Dieppe - It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, aunt, sister and friend on October 26, 2012 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre. Florine will greatly missed by all who knew her. She was an exceptional person; the most caring, kind, remarkable person you would ever want to meet, with a heart of gold. She was a great achiever and accomplisher. In her younger years she attended Oulton’s Business College. She did office work until she left to raise her three children. She later returned to work at Eaton’s, the Moncton Airport and retired at “La Petite Caf” at UdeM. Florine was a member of the Ste Thérèse Church Choir and Golden Age Club Dieppe. She was an avid bowler for many years, played softball, darts and loved to play 200. Later on she became a very good artist, taught by Doris Richard, whom she admired very much. She loved to garden and was an excellent cook. She was very fond of nature and loved animals, especially her cats. Florine had many friends and she loved them all. In the last few years she spent a lot of time with her family in Cocagne. She loved to go boating, swimming, picking wildflowers and being outdoors more than anything. She leaves behind her beloved sister Cécile Cormier; sisters-in-law Dorine and Leona LeBlanc; sons Gilles of Cocagne and Bernard of Dieppe - whom she resided with; daughter Cyrilla (Mike Murray) of Moncton and grandson Kris LeBlanc of Fredericton. Florine was predeceased by her parents Presley and Hermenie Landry, husband Cloris T. LeBlanc, sisters Jeanette and Rita and brothers Raymond and Oscar.
As per Florine’s request there will be no formal visitation. Funeral Mass in Florine’s honor will be held at Notre Dame de Lorette Church, 1542 Rue Champlain, Dieppe (Lakeburn) on November 2nd at 11am with Rev. Alban Thibodeau officiating. Reception to follow in the Parish Hall. Burial will take place at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of choice. Cremations has taken place under the direction of I.M.L.
