McCabe, Marie Elizabeth (Gullens) – 80, North River passed away peacefully October 27, 2012 in Colchester Regional Hospital, Truro. Born in Wallace, she was a daughter of the late Fulton and Maude Gullens. Marie loved spending time with her family, her dog, Gus and at the cottage. She is survived by daughters, Patricia (Arden) Cream, Cheryl (David) MacKenzie, both of North River; sons, Daniel, Vancouver, BC, Mark (Brenda) North River; sisters, Isabel Forsythe, Muriel Yeager, Mildred Genik; grandchildren, Rebecca, Sarah, Alex, Kyle, Jessica and Holly; great-grandchildren, Daxtin, Chloe; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Ernest; several brothers and sisters. Visitation will be held Thursday, November 1 from 1-2 pm followed by a funeral service at 2 pm, both in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow Street, Truro with Rev.
