It is with great sadness that the family of the late Clara Florence Gilley announce her passing on Monday, October 29th, 2012 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in her 84th year. She will be sadly missed by her loving family, children: William (Blanche), Cindy (Dan) Mustard both of Howley, Marilyn (Rodger) Pelley of Pefferlaw, Ontario, Kevin (Claudell) of Howley and Preston (Joan) of Glenwood, NL; grandchildren: John, Sonya, Cherrie, Stephen, Jeffrey, Roger, Natasha, Christopher and Kurt; great-grandchildren: Lacey, Sopie, Nathan, Alexandria, Caden, Quinn, Kamryn, Philip, Alexis, Addison and Preston; sisters: Nellie (Arthur) Everson of Flatrock, Thelma Edwards of St. John's and Vera (Wallace) Evans of Clarkes Beach; brother, Shawn (Ann) Piercey of Howley; sisters-in-law: Sarah Hillier of Howley and Nita (Lloyd) Hillier-Baker. Also a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband John; son Johnny; parents Mary Hillier Piercey and Gilies Hillier; brothers: William, Ernest, Bill and Raymond; sisters: Irene, Violet and Lillian. Visitation will take place from the Anglican Church in Howley Wednesday and Thursday where also funeral service will take place on Friday at 2:00 pm with interment to follow at the family plot.
