Peacefully, surrounded by her family at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Monday, Oct. 29, 2012, Dawna Lee MacLeod of Breadalbane, aged 56 years. Born in Summerside on Nov. 18, 1955,daughter of Roma J. (MacLean) Burke and the late Francis J. Burke. Wife of John C. MacLeod. Mother of Kim MacLeod and husband Eric Wigmore, children Laurel, Hazen, Ada and Mack; Rebecca MacLeod and fiancé Lyle Longuepee, children Brandon and Mallori; Adam and wife Jennifer MacLeod, children Jessie, Millage and Katie. Sister of Kathy MacDonald (Harvey), Bev MacLeod (Gordie), Kevin Burke (Colleen), Paula Constable (Dennis), Gary Burke (Jeanie) and Gail Burke (Emmett). Daughter-in-law of Hazel MacLeod and the late Millage MacLeod. Sister-in-law of Gail McLaine (George) and Paul MacLeod (Lynn). Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Resting at the Davison Funeral Home, Kensington, for visitation on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Saturday in the Davison Funeral Home Chapel at 10:30 a.m. Interment in the Breadalbane People’s Cemetery.
