The death occurred suddenly at home on Friday, November 2, 2012, of Edna L. Black, Lidstone St., Summerside, and formerly of Kensington, aged 88 years.
Born on Rennie’s Road on June 26, 1924, daughter of the late Daniel and Lillian (MacLeod) Hickox. Wife of Harmon T. Black. Mother of David (Linda), Florida; Peter, Rennie’s Road; Ron (Cindy), Summerside; and Roxanne (Larry) Kilbasco, Kensington. Grandmother to Dan Black, Sabrina Black, David Black, Matthew (Brit) Black, Celina Black (Mike Skalicky), Jenna Black (Daniel Luke), Rhonda Black, Sandy Nadeau (Kevin), Brent Kilbasco (Celia Lawton), Valann Kilbasco and Spencer Kilbasco. Sister-in-law of Kathleen Moldestad. Predeceased by daughter-in-law Linda Black, brother Lloyd Hickox (Josie), sisters Hilda Stead (Alfred) and Evelyn Younker (Claude).
Resting at the Davison Funeral Home, Kensington, for family visitation on Monday. Funeral service will be held Tuesday in Central St. Christian Church, Summerside, at 10:30 a.m. Interment in the Hunter River Cemetery.
