Passed peacefully away at the Hoyles-Escasoni Home, St. John's on Wednesday, November 7, 2012, Lila F. Sheppard of Harbour Grace, age 87 years. Predeceased by husband: Ronald; brother: Edward; two sets of twin siblings; parents: James and Lizzie Metcalfe. Left to mourn, sisters-in-law: Jessie Metcalfe, Manuels, Vera Hunt, Luxury Estates, Carbonear and Emily Sheppard, Bay Roberts; a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Rested at Noel's Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace. Rev. Moses Tucker conducted the funeral service on Saturday, November 10 at St. Paul's Anglican Church, Harbour Grace. Interment took place in St. Paul's Anglican Cemetery, Harbour Grace. Donations in her memory may be made to the Children's Wish Foundation or a charity of one's choice.
