Passed peacefully away at Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital in St. Anthony on Oct. 27, 2012 in her 98th year. Mamie Ellen Mitchelmore of Green Island Cove, NL. Mamie will always be remembered by her son Graydon (Rhoda); her daughters Myrtle (Ren), Bertha, and Velma (Wallace); grandchildren Dean (Michelle), Jasper, Jill, May, Ren Jr. (Karen), Trent (Lisa), Chad (Tina), and Vaughan (Daisy), as well as 11 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild, and sister-in-law Lavenia. Mamie was predeceased by her husband Tom, sons Maitland and Harvey. Visitation was held at St. Andrew’s Anglican Church in Lower Cove, from where the funeral service was held on Tuesday, Oct. 30 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Marlene and Harold Harvey officiating. Burial followed inthe church cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral Homes St. Anthony and Roddickton, Siobhan Mauger, funeral director.
