ROY, PAUL (JOHN) - (1944 - 2012) - The death of Paul Roy occurred at his home on November 3, 2012. Paul was born in Moncton on December 23, 1944. He studied at St. Charles College in Baltimore (1963) and graduated with a B.A. from St. Dunstan's University (1965) and a B.Ed. from the Université de Moncton (1974). He worked as a teacher mainly in the Moncton and Toronto areas and did spend part of his career in the Bahamas. He enjoyed travel, was a very intelligent and eloquent man. He was well versed on all news and events occurring throughout the world and loved discussing these and sharing opinions with friends and family. He will not only be missed by his family but by his friends, colleagues and acquaintances all over. He is predeceased by his father Alphée, mother Ethel, brothers George and Danny and sister Helen. He is survived by his sister Stella of Jupiter, Florida, brother Raymond (Jane) of Saint John, NB, aunt Sr. Theresa Duncan of St. John, NB and sister in-laws Ernie and Evelyne. His many nieces, nephews and cousins will also miss him very much.
At his request there will be no service. Donations can always be made to the Canadian Lung Association. You may sign Mr. Roy’s guest book, send a condolence message to the family, or have a memorial donation card placed for you by visiting the web site www.salonsavoie.ca. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the care of Savoie Funeral Home, Campbellton (753-7200).
